Description

plomyLAYER is the trademark of multilayer pipes (PE-RT/AL/PE-RT) produced by PLOMYPLAS Group

plomyLAYER pipes are made up of five layers arranged in the following order:

. PE-RT inner layer (polyethylene high-temperature resistant)

. Adhesive layer.

. Aluminium layer made by head-to-head welding.

. Adhesive layer.

PE-RT outer layer (polyethilene high-temperature resistant)

The dimensions (DNx℮) of plomyLAYER pipes for the plomyCLICK system are (in mm): 16x2.0, 20x2.0, 25x2.5, 32x3.0.

The technology involved in the production of plomyLAYER pipes guarantees the perfect weld of the aluminium layer (head-to-head welding) as well as the perfect joint between the different layers (plastic polymers and aluminium). The result is a top-quality pipe range perfectly meeting the market demands for domestic hot water and heating pipes.

plomyLAYER pipes are specifically designed for the plomyCLICK system and are available both in straight lengths and coils and in various lengths.

Key benefits:

PE-RT is the material coming into contact with water and is suitable for drinking water. It does not alter the organoleptic properties of water.
Reliability. All system certified by AENOR (pipes, fittings and system made by pipes and fittings)
Minimum bending radius for each diameter.
Outstanding long-term performance. Service life in excess of 50 years, even under high pressure and high temperature conditions.
No welding or mechanical tools needed. The push-fit connection system makes it economical and easy to install.
Thermal contraction and expansion is reduced to the minimum due to its head-to-head-welded aluminium layer and the excellent adhesion of the layers.
Its coefficient of thermal conductivity (0,40 W/m · K) reduces heat loss, thus saving on fuel.
Oxygen-tight, which makes it specially suitable for underfloor heating installations.
Non-overlapped, head-to-head welding of the aluminium layer attaining maximum level of concentricity (outstanding for push-fit systems)
Excellent finish in exposed installations. Available in white and cream colour.
Good form stability.
Low loudness. The flexibility of the material largely reduces the transmission rate of acoustic waves. Noise is thus reduced and water flow speed is increased.
High flexibility due to the use of PE-RT (temperature-resistant polyethylene) in the inner layer and to the specific thickness of the aluminium layer.
Lime scales and other deposits are avoided due to its small roughness length, thus guaranteeing stable water flow rates.
No maintenance required.
Electrical insulator preventing any kind of galvanic corrosion.
Minimum linear expansion.
